For me, on this Longest Day of the year, it was the Observers Like Us Big Event hosted by Curt Jaimungal of Theories of Everything.
Okay, maybe Jaimungal comparing notes with Lawerence Kuhn of Closer to Truth co-moderated by Lex and Joe might compete; but in our world, the competition isn’t a competition, it’s always ever only making one another better. Iron sharpening iron, conscientiousness clarifying consciousness. Sure, it can get gnarly and knotty at times, but never hateful, hurtful, or violent. Ever. That’s what you don’t get about Jordan, and maybe what you just don’t want to get. Maybe because you hate the imppeccable resolve to relentless self-honesty, because the one thing you must never do is be un-boundedly honest with yourself. That would expose everything. Compartmentalization is your internal, psychological Winchester Mystery Mansion, designed to keep those pesky, haunting, fleeting thoughts of conscience off the trail and off your tail at all costs. I mean, if it isn’t it isn’t; but if it is, it is. Isn’t it?
So, seems like maybe that’s what makes us sooo different from you. Maybe always has, maybe always will. Maybe that’s what you find so terrifying. Isn’t it?
